The principals of Latt Maxcy Corporation also own and operate Citizens
Bank and Trust, known as a respected banking institution that has thrived
for more than 80 years without a merger or a sell-out. Started in 1920
by entrepreneur Latt Maxcy and a group of local citizens, Citizens Bank
has remained a family owned bank and is the oldest bank in Polk County.
Today, Latt's grandchildren are continuing a family tradition of careful decision-making to carry the bank securely into the future. Citizens Bank now has total assets of approximately $500 million with 12 branches across Polk County.
