Waterford Estates

Waterford Estates is a master-planned, amenitized residential community located on the coastal side of I-75, one mile south of the City of Punta Gorda in Charlotte County, Florida. The community is situated on Airport Road between Edison Community College and a regional county park. Elementary, middle, and high schools are in close proximity and the Charlotte County Airport and Charlotte Regional Medical Center are located within minutes drive. Three major and regional airports within 90 minutes: Tampa International Airport is a 90-minute drive, Ft. Myers International Airport is within 45-minutes and Sarasota-Bradenton Airport is only 30 minutes. The City of Punta Gorda consistently ranks as a “Best Small City” in America. The city has been revitalized since Hurricane Charlie struck in 2004. The downtown district offers shops, restaurants, and marinas and an economic base not found elsewhere in Charlotte County. Waterford Estates is comprised of 701 planned attached and detached units on approximately 193 acres. The original plan called for 211 single-family lots, 266 twin villa lots, and 224 four-plex lots. The lots are essentially fully developed. Excluding amenities and landscaping, the infrastructure (sanitary sewer, water, roads and underground electric) is 90% complete. The project would be ready for homebuilding upon acceptance of the infrastructure from the City of Punta Gorda, completion of punchlist items, and installation of landscape and entry features. The project is also planned for a 8,200 sq ft clubhouse.
